Class Descriptions

ZUMBA®
Zumba® fitness is a dance fitness program featuring international rhythms including, but not limited to, Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, and Reggaeton.  It is a core workout made up of aerobic, interval, and resistance training using moves that require high control of the mid section of the body.  Nonverbal cues are used and choreography follows the Zumba® formula where the same steps are repeated on the same parts of the song allowing you to feel confident in your steps after just 2 or 3 classes.  Zumba® fitness classes at Baila Comigo are moderate to high impact but can be modified for any fitness level.  No dance fitness experience required. Class is 60 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class can be modified for those with knee problems.

ZUMBA® TONING
Zumba® Toning combines Zumba® fitness and maraca-like 1 lb. or 2.5 lbs. Zumba® Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm while toning your arms, abdominals, glutes, and thighs. No dance fitness experience required. Zumba® Toning sticks are provided. Class is 60 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class can be modified for those with knee problems.

ZUMBA® STEP
Zumba® Step combines Zumba® fitness and step aerobics to tone and strengthen your glutes and legs.  Zumba® steps are provided. Dance fitness experience is recommended but not required. Class is 60 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class not recommended for those with knee problems.

STRONG NATION™
STRONG by Zumba™ incorporates the proven, high intensity interval training method commonly known as HIIT and adds a Zumba® twist where body weight training is now synced perfectly to music allowing you to feel the music and power through your movements. This class is designed for those looking to increase their intensity levels of training and is a more athletic, conditioning style of workout. Zumba® fitness experience is NOT required. However, holding your body weight in a plank and being able to get up off the floor with little effort will make the class more enjoyable for you. No dance fitness experience required. Class is 60 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class not recommended for those with knee problems.


HIP HOP
Dance fitness exercise class using mostly Top 40 music and hip hop choreography. No dance fitness experience required. Class is 60 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. No dance fitness experience required. Class can be modified for those with knee problems.


COUNTRY FUSION®

Dance fitness exercise class fusing country music and dance into a low intensity interval training, commonly known as LIIT. A lot of dances you will find in honky tonks in Nashville! No dance fitness experience required. No dance fitness experience required. Class is 60 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class can be modified for those with knee problems.


CIRCL Mobility™
CIRCL Mobility™ is a combination of yoga and pilates focusing on improving your balance and flexibility, reducing stiffness, increasing mobility and range of motion, and hydrating your fascia. No dance fitness experience required. Class is 30 minutes and limited to 25 participants and is filled on a first come, first serve basis. Class can be modified for those with knee problems.
